Celebrate the release of the 2009 Pizzini Sangiovese and the traditionally made Italian pork sausage over the Queen’s Birthday weekend at our Sangiovese e Salsicce celebration.

Saturday 12th June 2009 The Sangiovese e Salsicce Long Lunch
Bookings are essential. Festivities begin at 11.30am sharp.
Join our Sangiovese e Salsicce long lunch with five courses of fine Italian fare, fantastic wine and fabulous entertainment. The all inclusive price of $135 per person includes your Wines of the King Valley tasting glass which can be used at any of the King Valley wineries participating in the Weekend Fit For a King celebrations over the weekend.

Our Cellar Door will be open for tastings as usual 10am ? 5pm

Sunday 7th June 2009 It?s all about new release wines including our 2009 Sangiovese, roving musicians and warming winter food with an Italian influence of course! Bookings for Sunday?s activities are not required.

Slow Food activity - Learn how to make your own pork sausages with the meats and spices provided, and then cook them on the BBQ for your lunch, a great activity for the kids, 12.30pm to 3pm ($15).

There is always a large selection of Mediterranean inspired lunch dishes ($18-$25) as well as a selection of desserts and then finish off with a steaming coffee.

Be entertained by Ced and his Gypsy jazz band Bric Brac who are back to whip the crowd into a singing frenzy while Maurice Milani will get your toes tapping.

You can purchase your Wines of the King Valley tasting glass at cellar door ($10) and use it at any of the King Valley cellar doors participating in the Weekend Fit for a King celebration.
